Snowman Poop! - Office Christmas Gifts

I made these little cuties for everyone at the office. Really quick and fun gift to make and even more fun to hand them out! I found them on Pinterest of course and the creator has free printables for you to make them next year!

Unfortunately, I don't have any 'making of' photos, but they were very simple to make. The Snowman Poop label and poem were free printables which I colored, cut and glued. For the whole tictac box cover, I followed the shape, which is also a printable, but it came out too small. So I grabbed a ruler and a pencil, measured the dimensions of the TicTac box and outlined the shape then cut. Make sure you keep your first one as a template so you don't have to measure each one.

Then I glued some scraps of the opposite color to the front and hole-punched a 1/4" hole at the top. Glue the cover to the tictac box and tie some ribbon around it and it's done! You can decorate the front however you want, or as much as you have time for! You could also glue the ribbon to the cover if you don't have a hole-punch and put it under the label as the color band instead of the scrap paper.

These also made awesome stocking stuffers! I think next year I'll be making the Grinch pills. Thanks for the ideas, Shannon! Instagram fun!:

'Itty Bitty' Projects

I've been lucky enough to get my hands on a few of Quick Quotes' Itty Bitty Box Kits, which are the perfect little mini projects for when you feel like scrapbooking, but don't have enough time to gather a bunch of pictures and paper and embellishments.

They are adorable mini accordion books kept in a plastic case to hold small memories. The three shown above are the only ones they have available on their website currently, but the four I've got are themed boy, girl, travel and family. They're perfect for tiny pictures of faces and they come with paper, ribbon, a couple embellishments, vellum words and quotes, and cut-out shapes. The only thing that doesn't come with the kit is the chalk to smudge the edges of everything, but that is also optional. I love that the kits include everything, but the creativeness is left to you so you can make the pages however you want!

Homemade Christmas Ornaments

Today's craft idea came from pin I found from Craft Snob. Here's the original picture from the pin...

And here's what I did with it!

I found these great bangles at the $1 store and then just had fun trying different stitches to get varying patterns. Think of all the possibilities! I don't think I'll make any two alike. The best part is you can choose whatever you want to hang in the middle; pictures, charms, creations would all be great! Thanks for the inspiration, Sara!

Since I know you're all wondering, I made the owl just by playing around with a bird pattern I also found on Pinterest.
